Kenworth w900 brake light switch

    Hi there. I have a kenworth w900B year 2000 and am trying to locate the brake light switch. Ive been told from dealership and other mechanics it is located by the park brake valves. However i cant seem to get into that part of the dash. The bottom plate of the dash (which is what i was told to take off to get to the switch) has screws towards the back but yet the front of the plate has some sort if rivets or something and cant go any further. Starting to get frustrating. Any advice out there is greatly appreciated.
