    2000 Kenworth... what?

Typically, it's a pretty easy task... you remove the lower trim panel, there'll be a small snap ring at the end of the cylinder... you remove that, then a larger flange between the cylinder and the door itself which you simply push and slide over. Key cylinder comes right out, new one goes right in. Just did one today on a T660, actually.

Good deal. Didn't take very long, did it? It's more the same if you want to do it with your side box doors, to get them all keyed the same (if you have a sidebox tumbler the same size as the ignition key... some models used a smaller key).

Would this be about the same for a 12 T700?

I worked for a carrier who had a handful of T700s in their fleet at one point, and don't remember having to change a tumbler on any of them, so I'm not 100% certain, but it'll probably be more like the T680, where there'll be a shim which holds the lock tumbler in place... you simply pull up (or pry up with a screwdriver) on it once you've disconnected the linkage and remove the snap ring from the back, then the tumbler should just push right out. Once you've got that door panel off and you're looking at it, you'll see that there isn't much to it.
