truck has been getting progressively worse. So I had a cylinder cut out test done today. All cylinders checked ok and all injectors were within 2-3 points(whatever it is) of each other. Here is the problem. Truck vibrates/misses/stutters under acceleration or pull. Smooths out if I let off the go pedal. So that's why I thought injector instead of driveline. I need ideas here. Injector harness? No codes were logged either. I am stumped. It also vibrates when the jakes are engaged. And I also have a ticking only when the jakes are engages at lower rpms. Please help!

Bit of INFO would be helpful such as Model of Truck and Engine

sorry bout that. 2005 w900 with c15 cat mxs. have not checked charge air. no egr. I was thinking overhead but my fuel mileage has only fell off a couple tenths, which may not matter. I have put 340000 on it since I bought it and I have not had the overhead run.

Had sort of a problem like that on a T600 with a cummins and was ok after injector harness was changed, was almost like it was flooding under acceleration

This one is not smoking or anything. Just seems to.run like crap loaded or pulling a hill.

Mine did the same best way to describe it was that it FELT like it was flooding whenever it had to pull a bit harder

I would have the overhead adjustment done ASAP. 340,000 miles it's way past due IMO. When was it last done by the previous owner? Some people think it's overkill but I have it done every 100k. Had it done a couple of weeks ago. Cheap insurance. They might find something broken in there.
