Hey guy i have three trucks a t2000 with a 3406e a t600 with a mbn c15 and a 387. The t600 has been horriable on fuel since i bought it (yes i know the mbns rep) and ive been wanting to get it retuned but just havent had the time or the money. Anyways the t2000 is pouring water into the oil pan so its down and out till i get the money for a rebuild (has 2.1 mill miles) and i was wondering if the ecu off of the 3406e has the same number of pins as the mbn, and if it does will the truck perform ok with that tune (the t2000 pulls super hard and gets 6.8 or better all day long)

    Thanks for any info guys
Btw all 3 trucks are 475 hp

Depending on make and engine model, the program (software) on the eprom chip-set would need to be reprogrammed for compatibility ( bios flash updated). You need a factory certified tech to reprogram it or you could create more problems.

Consult a trusted dealer/ factory rep before you do a Frankenstein repair!

I kinda understand what your saying (don't have much of a computer engineering background) but I think you miss read my post. What I want to do is swap the whole ecu from one truck to another, not get the mbn c15 ecu flashed with a 3406e tune. If I got the ecu reflashed it would be with a 6nz tune which I know is compatible because it has been done here many many times.

    Thanks for any info
