Get the tag number of the car you keep seeing there. Tell the police every time there's a problem, the same car is sitting there.

 

if you leave the bottom storage door unlock, you can open the sleeper door (if you don't know about it I'm not going to explain it) but almost every KW owner knows about it.
Pay for parking, keep you're investment safe.

 

You have your answer that's exactly how they get into it.

 

Thats not an easy task, perhaps theres a need for a lot more junk under the bunk.. or strap the bunk shut from the inside...

 

You might try opening the bunk yourself from underneath just to check it out
