Leaking air line. Do you hear hissing right at the shifter or further down?

Do you see bubbles from the soap and water? Did you replace your air lines too?

Is it louder in or outside the truck? I would just start taking things apart and looking for loose fittings or cracked lines. Probably going to be a big headache for a 10 dollar part!

Is no air leak,I looked. How big the air leak has to be to affect the shifting?? I took the knob apart,I looked under the truck,no bubbles

hissing means an air leak, something may be blocking the air in the new splitter box you installed, or the plunger is stuck in it. beat it with a hammer, or I should say tap it

If you have some allen wrenches you can take apart the top of the shifter handle. Drain the air down to zero if you can and be very careful when taking it apart, there is a small ball bearing in there, also a chuck(oval piece with one side has a ridge in it) - also 2 very small gaskets. If you have air pressure it will blow these things all over the place and you can't shift without them. I just had this problem last week. It is pretty self explanatory how it all goes back together. But not a very difficult thing to do. Hope you have your tools.
