Noticed today after loading truck seems to be down on power when pulling. The turbo sounds like it is changing pitch almost like a flutter, or skipping. Not sure. Only does it loaded and pulling a hill.

We had the hoses off of it while getting it road ready and everything seemed tight.

No fuel pressure gauge and the darn fuel filter gauge is not working. I am thinking along the same lines, fuel pressure issues. No cel

I would check your pressure first, could be transfer pump, or one of the regulators in filter housing. Not saying this is your problem but cheapest item to check first. Boost sensors can go bad and not have a chck engine light also. If you have no damage to fins and no back and forth movement on turbo it is more than likely ok unless the spring is weak in wastegate. Check all that and if nothing found I would run an injector cutout and see what happens.

Ok got some running in today. Sounds like a helicopter chopping air. Does it between 24 -27 psi of boost. Anything before or after those numbers everything seems fine. I can let off the pedal in that range and it stops. Also seems to lose power when this happens.
