I don't know what is going on I am getting a bounce in my front in around 50s mph sometimes 40s. But what is crazy is as soon as I lift my foot off the gas it stops one shop told me it may be my king pins but that does not make sense to me that would not stop bouncing if I lift my foot off the gas... Any ideas ?? Really got me puzzled...

And I changed my shocks to see if that was te problem

Check the wheel balance weights may have come off or check wheel bearings for correct end play.
Highwolf89 Thanks this. -
May be a balance issue. If it has a small window of mph bounce you probably have an out of balance tire. I have had several old trucks with pretty good amount of King pin play but never seen a bounce from them. Not saying they couldn't but I would think it would be all the time if it did. I did have a broke belt in a steer once and it bounced like front end coming off truck at about 20mph only, you could speed up and it would smooth out or slow down.

Yah my king pins have a little play I know I need to get them done but don't think that would cause a bounce only a away problem I would imagine but I am going to take it to get balanced and see

Tire balance. But... The statement that it stops when you lift off the throttle makes me think it is a U-Joint, driveshaft issue
Highwolf89 and KC Guardrail Thank this. -
What should I check for the drive shaft / u joint ? Am I looking for play?
-
Check all the u-joints for up and down and side to side play. There shouldn't be any. Check your carrier bearing too.
Highwolf89 Thanks this. -
Well I found out is my carrier bearing is bad getting it replaced... Thank you everyone for your help really appreciate it .
SLANT6, KC Guardrail and Dorsey Thank this. -
Well I got the truck fixed it has been running great with the carrier bearing but today it started it again... The new carrier bearing only has 2k miles on it how could it go bad ? Did they install wrong is there something causing it what should I look for? Any ideas.... So confused on it.
