Looking to buy a w900 and I wanted a sleeper without the side windows above the storage boxes and I was wondering if you could just replace the doors ,paint over it or cover it up with some metal ? Thanks for the help

You could do any of those. Don't know why you'd want to though. I drive a W900L with a 72" bunk and I can blindside back it very easily using the window on the right side of the sleeper.

Yeah, I have a pair of doors around here somewhere that are in excellent condition. Be glad to trade you or sell em to you reasonable, or whatever. My wife got me a pair with the windows in them for Christmas. real easy to swap out. My only complaint is that I miss being able to open the vents. Guess I will put a back window with a slide or pop out next.

I think that you can get windows that open to replace the ones that you have. I have seen other trucks with them, and they look like the same size.

Funny I was just going to start a thread asking about that. I have a W900L with the 72" studio.

Anyone have an idea where you can get windows that open with screens for the sleeper doors?

I would check with KW, see what they give you for a price and try to get a part# and manufacture name out of them, might be able to get it from the source for cheaper.

A friend told me that they do not offer a window that opens for the studio doors. I'll check with KW to be sure though.

Your friend is wrong. The sleeper doors are a standard size for all the large sleepers.

Yep. I need to get some for mine. I don't know why they didn't make the earlier ones (mine's an '07) with the sliders, but they'd be nice to have. I haven't decided which route to take; replace just the windows or find another set of doors with sliders from a salvage yard.
