fuel temp ? TO HOT?? help

    I have noticed the fuel tank at the end of the day is very warm alomost hot I know the weather has been hot also, but it still seems a little to warm it is an 05 cummins should I be concerned?

    Not at all. Its from the return fuel running out of the head at engine operating temp.

    return line fuel is always hot. This will keep your fuel from freezing in the winter assuing you can get it started. This is why its not a great idea to run your tanks all the way to empty. The more fuel in the tank, the more it cools down before going back in the motor.
