Fix it. Coolant level/oil pressure would trip a shutdown.....I would hope you checked that at minimum....

With Cat ET set the parameter to 0 will turn it off. most come from factory set a 4 mph, we turn them up to 9 or 10 when the customer asks for it to be left on.

Sorry it comes on active when key is turned than gos inactive again the driver has complained about coolant temp not Geting warm I think that is unrelated changing thermostats tomorrow I'm thinking they are stuck open. I'm wondering for the quick stop occurance code if it is in the 5volt sensor supply circuit there might be a problem he has also complained about Gage's fluctuating and jumping. I'm not sure what your saying to about setting paramator wich one?

Quick stop is a recorder of a few parameters such as cruise control, speed, brake application etc, so if the truck does a sudden stop it will record all these parameters, DOT likes to look at this if in an accident.
In configurations, open all groups and scroll down it is probably set to look of trip speed, usually at 4 mph from factory, you can turn it off by setting it to 0 (zero) or set it to the max which is 10 or 12 mph.
this does not cause any driving issues, the code just lets you know that these conditions have been met.
you may want to check your trans out put nut, make sure its tight as it holds the speed tone wheel, if loose the tone wheel will send bad signal to ecm.
