Get a loop hose made. If it goes there will be no warning until your trans goes south. I know from personal experience.

    Pinball0808 Thanks this.

I don't know about yours, but every one I have done I didn't need to drain grease to change lines. the only oil that drains out is what is in the lines. don't plug line. like other post said just loop line until you can get it fixed.

Now that I think about it you're right. The lines are up higher on the side of the trans not at the bottom. When I replaced mine it was time for new oil also so that's what I did. So brain fart on that one. If it's just a drip I'd drive it until I got home and not mess with T/A.

Do you know where the leak is? There isn't a lot of pressure in those lines. You can cut the hose and put a plastic hose coupler on there with some hose clamps also. I would pull in right now and get it fixed. I'm telling you, there is no warning when it goes. All your oil is gone and a trans going is the worst noise I have ever heard and felt in my life.
