Just bought this t2000 and have a few questions. My vac pumps for my trailer operate best at 1100-1300 rpms. Tried holding down the cruise control but get no response, how do i raise the idle when parked. Also my fridge isnt getting power but my fuses are all good, is there a switch to supply power to the fridge? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

some of the kw's i drove. had a on/off switch built into the climate control system for the sleeper. it supplied power to the fridge. it was a black switch 1 inch wide. 2 inches tall.

cruise off, dec and accel switches raised and lowered the rpm's. it would be your automatic idle speed on how fast you wanted it. you had to tap the switch. not hold it steady.

cruise on, hold dec or accel switch would kick the idle up. or tap the switches. turn cruise off, engine goes back to idle rpm.

i beleive that's the trick. been almost a year since i drove a kw. the yellow brake valve might also have to be pulled out for the engine speed to work.

i know engine idle can be set, without the need for a technician to plug into the ecm. but the ecm might have a range programmed in. in other words. you can only go so high. one truck i drove, only had a range of 800 - 900 rpms.

The frig is controlled by a switch on the dash with a snowflake on it.

To raise idle, cruise on, press and release accel switch, press again and hold until reaches desired speed.
