Hey guys, so I just ran a truck that im looking at on a dyno and through an inspection. I want to get some feedback from you.

First off, its a 1996 W900 with a 3406e set at 550hp and 1850ft lbs torque, with a O/H about 250k ago (no papers though). Thats backed by a rtlo18718B with 4.10 rears and 24.5 tires.

Now with that said, the dyno report is listing peaks of 400hp @ 1947rpm and 2135ft lbs at the same. The tech said that the fan was on during most of the run, so I think its safe to say that about 30hp was lost running that. That puts it at 430hp. The tech says that 450hp should be expected.
As far as blow by, they didnt use cfm, but inches of water lift, which was 1" under load.

Do those seem like appropriate numbers for this truck? Also, I know from some past experience that these motors like to like from the front and rear covers. Most of those leaks listed on the inspection Im not to worried about, except for the filter housing.

Any and all constructive thoughts are welcome.

    Something is screwy.

    2135 ft-lbs @ 1950rpm is 800 horsepower...
    400 hp @ 1950rpm is 1075 ft-lb
