I just replaced the leveling valve on this truck as it kept "pumping up" and was always hissing. As soon as you would put a load on it the air bags would bottom out and the suspension gauge would only read about 40psi. After I replaced the leveling valve the gauge will now read correctly but the suspension is still bottoming out. Could it be one of the protection valves along the side between the rear drivers? The one on the drivers side seems to be hissing in that position now. Any ideas?

You must adj. the rod from arm on valve to lower mt. you may have it adj. too low if it is bottoming out,After unhooking rod move arm on air valve untill you get it raised up to hight you like, then hook it back up after adj. rod to new setting.

No you don't adjust it to a height you like. You need to call a KW dealer & find out the proper height it is supposed to be at so that the driveline is at the proper angle or you will have problem's beside's the ride.

If the ride height is set with no load the valves should compensate to come back to that level loaded. I would be checking the output to the bags when the truck is loaded.
