its sensors in the trany. the engine thinks that tranny didn't shift or trying to shift. try to disconnect the battery and start over.

When a friends clutch went on his ultra shift he was getting a CA code for clutch abuse for a few weeks before it starting slipping bad .. Not sure if all give a code or not

its clutch sliping. rpms going up speed stays the same.

Reved higher than normal then trans wouldn't select a gear just stayed in neutral

The truck stop can adj. the clutch, it must be adj. to keep it from slipping, if you keep driving it you will need a new flywheel along with clutch, if you have clutch pedal does it have 1 or 2in. of free/play at top of pedal?

It's only a 2 pedal. The Kw mechanic had said it's an auto adjusting clutch, but he didn't actually look at it, so may have been assuming. Disconnecting the battery didn't do anything, so it's def clutch. Heading to nearest shop now.

Ta mechanic checked the clutch, said it's more of a liquid torque converter. Can't be adjusted and can't see wear. Said there's no tranny shops around either... Sigh

Where are you now, a regular old repair shop can look at the self adj. the clutch it can be adj. a few times before end of clutch life, you can put it in man. shift and ease it to a good shop before getting jacked up at a bad shop?
