Check the wire from sensor to ECU. It's shorted somewhere

The float inside the overflow tank may be bad. My 2009 T660 had that problem and you have to replace the tank. The float is molded into the tank.

    I thought they'd discontinued the T2000 by 2012?
Anyhow, how much voltage are you getting to the sensor? It should be 5v.

    figure it out?

same problem, ive changed that black sensor that plugs into bottom of reservoir, changed harness that plugs into that. checked wires and see no rubbed through spots

there is actually something inside the reservoir that could be bad? could make sense for my issue being I had oil cooler maybe 30k ago and a bunch of oil in coolant
