    Mine did pretty much the same thing awhile back....Low voltage on the gauge and alternator,I replaced everything (alternator,Batteries,and still low voltage)

    Low and behold I had to replace the positive cable Brass Lug(terminal) that mounts to the starter solenoid (it was hanging on by a few strands of wire from rotting)...$5 dollar lug and 14 volts now!

    hmm..you unplugged trailer and they stopped blinking..did your gauges read right after too? if so.possibly and bad pigtail or short feeding back into the tractor..i had a similar problem i thought was in my pigtail housing and couldn't find anything so i finally fooled around with my abs connections and things straighten up .. just an idea..

    Ok....got it all figured out. Trailer had a short close to the middle turn signal/marker, solved blinking marker lights. Ground wire on alternator was about to come out of lug, installed new lug crimped it on good. Problem solved so far. Been good since all that.
