So I put a large bag of speedy dry, shovel and have other tools and stuff under my sleeper and my door latch broke so I need help!! Does anyone know how to get it open? And where would I find a new door handle assembly?

Get a new one from the dealer. Can you get under the bunk and unscrew the nut?

Not sure in a KW, but in a Pete you lift up the mattress and can get access to the side boxes by taking the plywood off.

Sorry forgot about model. 96 w900l. Bunk doesn't tilt up. I may end up having to cut a hole in the platform to get to the door access panel. I have to look again as it might be screwed in but it's metal not wood.

You have to drill the latch out

if your door is like the one on a t660, you can use a screwdriver to push the latch in once you gain access to the cubby from under the bunk.. depending on what part the of the latch that broke you can possible get it from a lock smith. if it's the handle you'd have to see the dealer or order online.. if it's the actual latch mechanism, then you can get that in more then a few places.. i bought one for my tool box from a local lock smith.

Awesome thanks guys! I was trying to find the assembly online but couldn't find anything. This week I'll mess around with it and see what I can figure out and take the piece out below my mattress. At least I will be able to get to some of the essential stuff.

Because you will need to remove the latch to replace it I would take a small air or electric grinder and grind the heads off the rivets on the outside of the door. Hopefully you could then remove the handle and replace it.
