if you really want the pipes to look good on a w900 with picket elbows install 40 inch battery boxes instead of 45s. that way you can have a straight elbow instead of the funky bent kw ones. the arm bracket will move forward and use the holes in frame that the old 45inch boxes used. a lot more work but looks better imo.
