C-15 Low boost @ high RPM

    Having a strange problem with my 6nz. Keep getting boost pressure loss and surging at high RPM, 1700 to 1850. Have pressure tested air to air all boots and clamps. Is it time for a turbo? 1.1 million on engine and turbo. Have never had this issue before with any of my cats.

    Bad throttle sensor possible? Run on cruise not pedal and see if surging continues. Boost sensors are known to stick also. Not turbo. Could be wiring problem, start eliminating and keep us posted.

    Changed throttle sensor and still have same issue. Going to start looking at ECM or injector wiring.

    New JMT turbo installed, no change. Has anyone had this happen from a bad check valve on compressor? It could allow boost to escape from intake? Might be my next move, will advise if this changes anything.

    Just some ideas : have you checked air and fuel filters.
