    Hi guys,

just purchased a new T-680 , wondering when we will see the best fuel mileage? People are telling me there is a break in period and that after that the fuel economy will be good.

    Thanks

From what I understand is, you can expect the fuel economy to improve over a 60,000 mile period. I THINK you might expect about .5 mpg improvement over that period.

After 1st valve set at 40000 miles power and fuel milage went up 4/10ths and by 75 to 80,000 it was up about 7/10ths then winter hit

Internal resistance of the engine decreases as parts wear in together. Valves as mentioned above, and tires rolling resistance decreases as tire treads smooth out.

Depends on how you run it, too.
