My truck has the 7" miter cut straight exhaust on it. And it is very loud. The truck is a daycab. I'm looking for a small 5" in/out muffler/resonator with no more than 7" body and 18" long. Anybody have any ideas? Or is there a good way to tone the truck down a little? I love the sound but the sweet spot of the truck has a really loud drone.

Donaldson makes a little resonator that's 10-12" long or so. I have one on my Detroit behind the turbo.
Here's a link to a Dynaflex one.

I have 7" straights. I have a little resonator up underneath...I can't tell you if it's quieter with it-but it's not quiet by a long shot.even idling. Pretty loud.
Muffler? Taller pipes (push the sound a bit further away) ? -
I'll look into th resonator! I don't want to quiet it down a ton just get a little bit of the drone in lower rpm. I thought about going taller stacks but I'm already maxed out on height because I have to load under asphalt plants lol seen a buddy bend his backwards on the rack. Thank you for the info!
