I can understand that. I see a shiny one and want to buy one. Then reality kicks in and I am happy with my 92 for all the right reasons.

I would just customize a w900 like that icon 900 by my own.

Yeah its crazy, we have a guy that runs around on 13, bought a new T800W, 2 speed rears, auxiliary trans for the low price of $240,000. There's no work for the big trailer right now and he has been running around with a 3 axle trailer. Rates aren't near good enough on 7 to pay for a truck like that!

I disagree. The Paccars are the easy-going kind at my dealer.

I'll trust my friend, plus I've heard many that says the Paccars are the most trouble engines put in 18 wheelers.

I would rather post 2013 cummins under the hood of kw or pete.

The most trouble we get from Paccar's are aftertreatment issues. Everything from the turbo back is a Cummins system. Dealing with the engine isn't the worst part about them anyways, it's with Paccar itself that's the issue. Their dealer support system is, for lack of a better term, lacking.

I myself know nothing about them, only what my fried told me. He said he had to work on many more Paccar than any other engine. And all he works on now is the electronics on diesel engines. he said I would never recommend anyone to buy one.
