Lease - choose your loads and when and where you take time off
but.. you pay for fuel and repairs

company- no expenses, but you cant turn down loads unless you are almost out of hours

there are also dedicated lease options for Tyson & BASF that pay a bit extra and usually keep guys very busy

My spouse and I are interested in KLLM lease purchase but I can't find any information WITHOUT speaking to a recruiter. I have about 6-7 Months verifiable in the last 3 years. and 4 years verifiable in the last 10. Clean MVR, Clean CVSA, and Clean background. My husband's MVR is clean except for a fire extinquisher ticket on a Dually. My Husband has at least 1 year verifiable in the last 3 years and 5 years in the last 10. His CVSA is a little shakey as he was busted without a log book driving a dually for a buddy. ( DOT told him it was better to say he did not have one) and the guy we were working for forced him to take Bulk liquid totes without a tanker endorsement. ( They have asked for those CVSA points to be removed because he did have tanker, it was our DMV fault that it was not literally on his CDL) So I have questions. We have recent DOT physicals ( Done May 10, 2014), and have never failed a Drug test. So how hard is it to get hired, will they let me have my dog, and what is their orientation like?? EX: Driving test, ect....Just need some solid info please. Taking a chance on a big company again and I don't want to waste my time to get sent home because of some bogus problem. Thanks:biggrin_25513:

I'm going thru the application process now myself, kadkins. They are verifying my experience and working on my background. She said I should know something by Thursday of this week.

Where are you at in the process?

I have a friend trying to get on the lease program, with bankruptcies on the credit history. Will the trucking company let him lease a truck, and insurance company let you get insured insurance
