It can be okay. If you like short regioanl relay work. 200 to 400 miles at a time. I didn't care for it. Lots of sitting and waiting around. They tell you this in orientation so they don't lie to you. It just wasn't for me. I like some 1200 and longer runs and that won't happen with this dedicated division.

Overall, I think KLLM is pretty good to work for. This lease phase seems to be a major push with all truck companies today. I believe you have to be a lease driver at Tyson dedicated. I'd check that out, not 100% for sure.:biggrin_2551:

My husband has been at KLLM since he got out of school in March, we like them pretty good he decided after his 6 week training he wanted to do owner op he is one of the youngest in this company. He just this week called Tyson to go dedicated for them and they took him on he will be home more and be able to drive thru more and make more $$$ which this is why he got in this is for the money. i think that if you are going to not be home much that it should be worth it ya know? but if there is any thing anyone wants to input on let me know:yes2557:

Go onto the the Tyson Foods website, (Drive For Tyson). The website seems to explain things quite well. I would really suggest Tyson Foods, only because they seem to have an EXCELLENT reputation for treating their drivers quite well, (pay, benefits, miles, working conditions, and overall attitude). GOOD LUCK!!
