Sage School at Nash Community College (Rocky Mount). I think JCC is Sage too.

FYI, if you go with KLLM go ahead and get your TSA 'Threat Assessment' & fingerprinting done now, as it can take 2 or 3 weeks to get processed. The office is in Raleigh and is easy to find, a few blocks off of I-440, on Southforks Rd.

You don't have to get hazmat, but it really helps. I didn't have it when I worked there, and it cost me some sitting time on an occasion or two.

Their website states Hazmat is *not* required for entry-level drivers.

For the position I'm jockeying for, it's required within 30 days of becoming a lead driver.

Thanks for the reply

Thanks for the info on the Texas Reg, Run. I know they just closed the yard here in the Dallas area. The recruiter told me that the Texas Reg runs all over now. But that you can request time off at 7 days. I read here that they we out of trucks but yet they have a big add in the paper here. Who knows I think it says a lot about a big company when all there trucks are full!! Thats a good thing!! Way to go KLLM for being able to do that!! Un heard of these days... I called Crete and they dont have any dedicated and only a few reg. open...So 2 good companies going strong thats pretty awsome...

It takes 90 days for medical to kick in.

$28/wk seems pricey too, as my previous employer, a national private carrier (not OTR) was only $9/wk. It was 8X the size of KLLM.
