Hi, I was wondering if anybody is familiar or is an independent contractor through KLLM, I've been driving as a company driver for about a year now and was wondering how it all worked. Also, how much should I save up for fuel for the week before I get my truck

Tbh I think schneider has the best lease purchase deal going on...you can even pick your own loads...I really dont agree with any lease purchase because I feel its a design to fail deal...but if looking for a truck I really believe schneider is your best option
-
I know you have options for your loads through KLLM being that my trainer was an O/O
-
Yea but its a difference with having options and you dispatching yourself. ..your the one control of your money. ..plus schneider pays % so u don't have to chase miles
-
KLLM as well pays %, I'll look into it though, any driver I've spoken with says they're glad they went lease purchase. You can always turn your lease in at any time for nothing.
Loke Thanks this. -
But why would you want to lease purchase and u only been out here trucking a year...? Not trying to discourage you...but do you think you really ready for that so soon?
Dinomite, pusherman and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
I understand how everything works, like I said. If all fails and I feel I bit off more than I can chew, I can always turn my lease in.
-
Well sounds like you got your mind made up...good luck to you
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
Just wanted more information on the program itself
