Would KLLM be a good choice for a company driver?

Do KLLM company drivers 'get the scraps' that the lease drivers and O/O's don't want? Do they push new drivers to take the lease purchase?

Well depends on how you look at it (I left ffe when kllm walked in)... you will hear alot of talk about leasing... and one chunky dude with greasy hair will talk to driver about leasing (some kllm lease recruiter sleezeball)... but my buddy still at ffe says that the rules for leasing are the same as they were, you have to be with the company 6 months before they will let you even apply.

And as for "scraps" no... but coming right out of training you will be on a learning fleet and miles might be a bit low... but that is just to keep from over stressing you and pushing you too far and if you prove you can do it then they will run the balls off your truck (well ffe would...kllm apparently not so much)

I was with FFE when kllm bought them. Stuck it out for a couple more months under the kllm moniker. Hated it. Micro managed, unorganized, got to a shipper on time to find out the load was cancelled or already picked up. Happened 4 or 5 times. Road service took forever.
I was already leasing so I can't answer the other questions. I still made pretty good money, just got tired of the BS.

Iceman I worked for ffe for a year, before kllm bought them out.Been with kllm now a year,in my experience kllm's the better company, better pay, better equipment, more miles and so on.I was company 4 months before I made switch to lease, and I did real well, but everybody has a different experience.

How many miles did you average as a company driver? I'm trying to find something solo and average around $800/week gross.

About 2800 would bring home on average 850.00 a week.
