    oh wow... .92 a mile

mileage benefits the company not the driver. as simple as that.

Paid low rate per mile, and can't pick your own loads off a load board. Why would you ever try to run your business that way? I make at least $1.55 cpm on all miles, period. Some loads pay over $2 a mile, others $1.25 per mile, but my average is very good. I pick my loads, go where I want, go home when I want, for as long as I want. Unless you run your own authority, Schneider or Landstar are the only places you should be leasing your truck on to.

HorseShoe, B*Rocka, drvrtech77 and 2 others Thank this.

And it is according to how they figure the miles also, the cow trails or major highways. You figure 10% off or more for the way most figure would be 50 miles x.92 = 46.00 loss to the driver.

    HorseShoe Thanks this.

I was making 35 CPM as company driver and at the end of the week I was still taking making 8-900 bucks. It all depends on how u manage ur life out on the road, and the measures you take to save money rather than spending it at the truckstops.

.92/mi isn't squat. ..fuel alone cost around .50-.60/mi cost wise...now some maybe lower and some higher but as general thing...you're running in the negative believe it or not running at that rate consistently.

    HorseShoe and Raiderfanatic Thank this.
