KLLM Drivers: Tell me more about KLLM

i have already bought the house in kansas....my recruiter said it wouldnt be a problem....she said that i could get on the midwest regional run

you are right bikerdave....last week i was in a swift orientation ... i found out fast that my recruiter was all lies....thats one reason i am here in atlanta now with KLLM...found out the pay at swift was .25 per mile....i hope that KLLM wasnt lying when they told me .32 per mile

 

Your right they start u at .32 used to be .34 but when all companies scaled back they did too. I forgot about Midwest regional out of Portage, In. Kurt, the terminal manager is a cool guy. They're pretty laid back there, but you probably will see a lot of Chicago. I always heard it was a mixed bag up there as far as miles though. If you don't like it you can always go otr. Good luck, and try to keep your head down for at least a year,that way if you decide to leave you can get out of the lower echelon of bottom-feeding hell.

 

wow u was right about the orientation guy....total prick....but i will stick it out since i wont have to fool with him after the orientation...i will be dispatched out of jackson ....maybe they wont send me over to atlanta too often

 

starting pay is. 32. I can vouch for that from seeing my paychecks for the last 6 months.

 

Being dispatched out of Jackson you shouldn't get routed into Atlanta too much. Usually when you when you have to get some work down to the truck or trailer. HAHA I told you Ed was prick... definitely has little man syndrome always trying to fire somebody like he's somebody.Eventually somebody is gonna fix the rest of those teeth for him! he aint got no teeth...they are ALL gone...he fired someone today while we were watching a video...he had someone in his office for swerving off the road....but other than him being a butthead the rest of the people act like they are ok

 

hell he didnt like my clothes yesterday because i had on a alabama hat and a new orleans saints shirt and today i wore cincinnati reds hat and a colorado buffalo shirt...so i found out who he pulled for so i started teasing him...he likes the army in football and new england patroits and boston red sox ...so i teased him a little and he loosened up and wasnt as obnoxious...i think we will be ok now

 

See there, You're already learning valuable KLLM experience! I like to call it knowing the mark. Your not necessarily kissing up to the mark, yet you learn what makes the mark tick and use those weaknesses to your advantage. This skill will get you a long ways not just at KLLM but elsewhere too.
