KLLM Drivers: Tell me more about KLLM

Hey Bama and Shevy do you know anything about the tuition reimbursment program that kllm offers? Im starting school in september and the teacher gave us a list of companies that do this.

 

I think they pay u a little extra every week until its done

 

My opinion, KLLM has an excellent tuition reimbursment program. You get up to $5000.00 back, $37.50 each week (equal to 150.00 per month), for up to a year, then after you have been there for one full year, you get cut a check for the remainder.... Example: So if your loan was $5,000.00, and after a year you received $1500.00 in reimbursment pay, they will cut a check for $3500.00.

That simple...

 

Just goes to show you,that most people wont make it a year, as most don't. They will starve you out on a layover for the last 6 weeks. I was all set for their orientation but decided to go with another company as the recruiter thought he was god

 

Been here over a year now and haven't had a layover yet.

 

Can't really speak to their reimbursement program as I have went that route my advice if u choose to go to kllm is expect the worst and hope for the best when it comes to reimbursing u for tuition but nonetheless u will make that money back one way or another ..look at it as an investment!

I'm new graduate and still looking for a good company ....
I sent an application to KLLM yesterday but what you guys telling about them makes me things again....kind of confusing all that stuff about picking a company.
I'm looking for an atlanta based company so i can be home at often as possible but ...starting a new career in trucking seems to be bit difficult
Which one to drive for ????

Watkins & Shepard - terminal in Dalton
Navajo - has some dedicated stuff with frozen foods out of Atlanta
SVTN
CTL Transportation
Superior Carriers
