I will also be going with KLLM come mid October. My orientation will be in GA also. Got a quick question, I am going OTR and not regional. Doe anyone know what terminal that OTR is out of?

 

Probably the Jackson terminal.

 

KLLM Atlanta Terminal isn't all that bad guys,,its all how you talk to people. If you go around demanding things,your gonna get stone walled. Thats just life, talk right to them and they treat you well. Even after 11 yrs of me being gone from there, they still treat me well... Guess I'm just the lucky one.

 

All OTR drivers are all out of the Jackson Terminal. South Eastern Regional and dedicated are out of the Atlanta Terminal.

 

I'm in northeast ohio area, and wonder where I'd be dispatched out of. Would it be the Indiana terminal or Jackson. Does it even matter? Don't know how this all works (newbie here). Tks.

 

Dispatch will come from the Jackson terminal. Indiana is just a drop yard.

 

Gottcha. Thanks for info. When its time for some home time just want to drop or load close to home, which according to recruiter shouldn't be a problem.

 

Portage IN is a drop yard but there are dispatchers there also. Unless it has changed in the pass month since I left.
