gotta say, I drove for KLLM for 9mo back from 07-08. I couldnt stand dispatch or their JIT freight or having Oscar Pope call you after just being passed out for 4 hours to run a "hot load" and having him beg you for 15 minutes then threaten you until you finally give in, but I will definantly say Willie wasnt a racist, him and the night dispatch dude in segoville,tx were the only people I felt were honest in that company.

Lying ### You can't do that amount of miles legally in a week while on e logs. Unless you are a owner op on paper logs and crazy enough to work for $.90 cents a mile

The Big Pumpkin Is Schneider. I think he is a owner or lease op using their load board to pick the loads he wants to haul. It's a better deal but normally there a time you have to wait before you can come over. I know a driver who wanted to lease but they require you to be a company driver for a few months before you can become a lease op.
I finished paying for my truck I bought at Prime and looked into switching recruiting told me I would have to wait till October to come over. I hear many drivers do well on their load board and some were former Landstar drivers.

A lot of what you mentioned is the norm industry wide. Rarely does any company pay for you to deadhead home after unloading. Most truck company's pay Randal McNally miles which are zip code to zip code and none pay for 100% of miles driven, lease drivers should have the right to turn down loads since they are considered contractors, shippers/receivers won't pay you detention of you are late no matter the excuse, also by working by the mile the company keep most of the profit at $.90 a mile plus fuel surcharge yet the load of strawberries from Cali to the east coast will run around $9000 give or take per load. If you want to be a company driver then work for a company who has all company drivers so you don't have to compete with lease drivers. P.s. I've met many happy drivers at Kllm and some who paid off their truck. I consider their earnings per mile low compared to others but if you get your miles you should do okay.
