Good luck with Knight! The pros of working that tire account? You will probably stay in shape since most of those tire loads are driver unload. The cons of working with this company? Stay off of per-diem. Here is an example of the sliding payscale rates:
Free. Free-er. More free. Something along the lines of .31, .34, and .37; but if you are on per-diem, those figures will change for the worse. Don't believe anything I say, but it's best to call payroll to find out, and then check your pay on the planet knight website.

I could only describe it as a "mixed bag". Your weekly miles depends on your dispatcher's ability to keep you moving as well as the seasons.
The winter season is the worst, but that goes for the trucking industry in general. Since you are starting out in the summer, you should be kept busy, but again that depends on you hounding your dispatcher if you really want to stay busy. From what I experienced as well as what I hear, most of the miles are on the west coast. Good luck to ya and hope that you have an okay experience with this company!
