Other than daily pay, you have any other pluses for working for Knight? I enjoy logging on my time, so it's nice that we log on our local time I guess.
Throw me a bone.
OK, name the good things about Knight.

I am REALLY trying to think of something positive to say here, but I'd be lying if I wrote anything at all!

Okay, I'll bite...
I get good, consistent miles every week.
Good hometime.
I dont get left out on the road for weeks on end.
I get paid a fair wage, get paid for all the extras, and I don't have to fight to get it.
New/newer trucks, fairly well maintained.
We haul for major companies, no running to Podunk to pick up a load from who knows where.
Knight is a solid company financially.
I don't get pushed to play with the books, or do favors.
I run the way I want to run, and they leave me alone.
Anyway....continue the troll.....elharrison, ozzspeed, Baack and 2 others Thank this. -

Is Knight the great white hope? I'm not saying that. But they could be a whole lot worse.
I will say this though, most of the drivers that I've met that have negative things to say about the company either brought it on themselves, or they blow it WAY out of proportion so as to make themselves look innocent. -
Companies like Knight et al are the reasons that unions have been reqd during the history of this country! I am anti-union in general, having worked around them and been written up for helping an older lady with a heavy load, as well as aiding in getting equipment out-the-door at the end of month to help save a company financially by meeting an important delivery date.
I've also watched as good, sincere union people, after getting promoted to union stewards, turn into the same type of ppl as the professional politicians that we have in Congress!
But again, Knight is one of the reasons that we must endure union orgs that reduce production and build up large, 'undeserved,' entitlement programs that drain our economy... -
here is a good thing about knight.
It's a job.
if you need a job, it's a job.
If you dont like it, suck it up, you'll only have to work there 1 year, then you can get a better job.Remrie Thanks this. -
