I'm at the Wal Mart yard in Irwindale, CA. Got an easy day tomorrow, 350 miles in driving to Porterville and back to LA. I love this stuff. ^.^

Spent all day yesterday at the Fling J in Springville, UT waiting to deliver in Provo. Got to the customer and found out that the person I called was full of crap about the receiving hours. I was told 2100-0200. The correct hours were 2100-1200. Got unloaded at 0030 last night so I just stayed there. At the Flying J in Barstow, CA doing a 34 reset. ound out my governor speed was cut back to 63 mph today. It sucks, but I am not going to sweat all night to go faster.

The one time someone said that to me I told him he could go screw himself. 100 degrees at midnight? Give me a break. Stupid idiots. I'm not going to die for them. And when they pull the crap at shippers, I disconnect from my trailer and move off the premises until they have my trailer loaded or unloaded. Like you, I won't be miserable and risk the danger of a heat stroke for anyone.

Was actually able to shut the truck down last night. Slept pretty good. Haven't started it yet today. Inside doing laundry. It actually rained here this morning. It was 75 with a nice breeze when I got up today.

Is freight getting better out of SLC?
Used to be they had their dedicated's who hogged it all (Costco & good runs W. to Reno, etc), and we AZ drivers got the leftovers...Coke loads from Phx to SLC were once a main stay of Knight Phx, with several co's (4got their names) out of SLC regularly going to Phx. The return loads seemed to have dried up by the time I left...
