As a matter of fact, it is not obvious to anyone but you. Interested in seeing what your thought precess is, if there is one and not just a gut reaction.

It is a non-refundable $400 / no payments , you have to pay it all at once before the pet goes in ! They will payroll deduct it , but the entire $400 at 1 time !! Take photo's of your truck inside before you get your pet into it & again when you are done , so they can NOT take extra $$ for doggie damage that's not there !

I was told it was a $400 deposit, but $200 is refundable.

And all dogs shed. Clean up after them.

    Poodles & Schnauzers dont.

Hair can get 'ground' into carpet---back when, flooring was rubber so could be washed out with a hose (used to do every time we slip seated trucks on Freightliner Centurys & FLD's). Carpet shudnt be used when oil, grease, etc. gets on driver's shoes and is taken inside!

Carpeting in a truck is like putting carpet in a bathroom.......comfortable, yes---but practical, NO! Altho most likely provides some additional sound proofing (?)

Had a co-driver kick over his 'pee bottle' in a carpeted truck---smell lasted long after cleaning :biggrin_25523:

I had a Peterbilt once that was carpeted. Stupidest idea I've ever seen in my life. The drivers floor area was distgusting and smelled of mold and the sleeper was only slightly less gross. Vinyl floors, as I have had in all my other trucks are a breeze. Sweep it out the door with a hand brush.

5 yrs driving Express, I learned to carry a can of Lysol (to wipe down the dash & controls) and a can of Fabreeze (spray walls & carpet for odor 'disguising') when starting out due to the many previous 'disgusting' drivers that had been in the truck! :biggrin_25521:

Also never went bare foot in the truck but always wore socks!!! :biggrin_25523:

    Dna Mach Thanks this.
