I know Knight does not have APU's and only invertors allowed are the plug in type. What type of refrigerators or coolers are you using to keep your food cool?

I ran with knight twice. For the first while did standard ice chest. That gets to be a pain though. Dumping out water. Putting fresh ice in. Then I got one of those 12 volt coolers at truck stop. Worked pretty good.

I have a cooler that runs off the DC/cigarette lighter. It works ok is not the greatest but works if not kept on warm floor.

Coleman iceless cooler. Plugged into the 12v socket in top bunk of my Prostar.

Keep any cooler up off the hot floor and also cover it with a heavy quilt or blanket.

Igloo or coleman iceless with a 12v plug-in. strap it in the passenger seat and point an a/c vent at the cooler's intake.
