    sigh. recruiter was not thorough and missed my preventables I put on my app. I'm being told I have to wait till I go 1 year without a preventable before I can start.

    back to St. Louis I go. :(

    Honestly I would find another job. This company is out of control. Enjoy your sliding pay scale. That's real nice of them. Enjoy your empty search. Lol. Oh yeah that's real fun. Doing local runs for nothing.

    Honestly I hope this company burns.

    "Enjoy your sliding pay scale.">> The base pay is the lowest, shorter runs get more per mile. Don't like the base pay, I can understand that, but you need to think of that as your BASE.

    Enjoy your empty search">> Your DM should pay you for ALL miles run, or give you local pay. If they don't, refuse to run around looking for those empties.

    "Doing local runs for nothing"Again, don't run them if you are not getting paid.

    If you can't get your DM to do this, talk to Terminal Manager. In my experience, Knight is NOT trying to screw you out of money, it's just a big company and things get missed. If you can't be bothered to keep track of your pay and miles, etc., maybe you should find an hourly job. McDonald's or Best Buy or something along those lines?

    Hahaha! Now that's a joke. You care to explain how payroll keeps screwing all this up? You will get paid your milage but not the po. Or you will get paid the po and not the milage. It can take weeks to get payroll to fix this.

    No no no. I understand that some people don't ever have payroll issues but trust me they happen. And a lot.

    You must understand that what I say comes from a guy who was one of their most dedicated drivers. The things I did to make sure loads made it on time were above and beyond.

    I have info into that company that would probably make you laugh. Like having to hire certain salesman to party it up with clients because the knights can't... Well.... "Party".

    No, I have watched as management has collapsed from the top down in our division. This company as a whole is a perfect example of why there is a "driver shortage".

    Why any of you would work harder for less money baffles me. The sliding scale is a pure rip off and can't be fixed by a simple dispatcher.

    But go ahead and tell me I can't keep track of my money. Knight was always about a grand behind in pay with me. At its peak it was around 2200.

    The only reason knight didn't get to pocket that was because I was on top of it.

    So try again.

    Oh and just a PS... I like how the local thing was the only thing you could come back at. Guess EVERYTHING else I said would be spot on? Lol.

    I will agree that port services then selfs seem in disaray, I have talked to a few out of the Kent, WA yard that had issues. Most there complaints were there DM not being on the ball and missing out on pay or slow to pay out loads due to incomplete paperwork there DM. With as much as Knight has invested in port services i figured the hammer would of came down by now on some of these guys.

    So would it be easier to just go to Knight Refrigerated, or Kool trans?
