Not sure if there is an easy answer for this. I'm located in central VA, and have a pre hire from Knight for the 7 out 2 off OTR dealio. Anyone with experience out there that can predict where they'd mostly be sending me?

Any help will be much appreciated!

From what I've read about knight on this site they will send you way out and not get you home for about 7 weeks if your lucky. I hope that what I've read is just the endless crying of unproductive drivers for your sake. But if knight keeps there word I would guess you'll spend most of the time east of the mississippi river. Good luck and keep your license clean, if you have gotten it yet.

Didn't know they had a DG account. Is this the type where you do the unloading yourself? My recruiter said it is 7 on 7 off OTR. Kinda wondering where Knights freight might take me. Am I gonna be going to NYC every week or out to TX or what, cause I really have no idea. Not trying to unload my own truck though, that's for sure.

More than likely , central VA , MD to CT ,MA or MD to upstate NY .Saw alot of Marcy NY walmart d/h and CT grocery whrhse loads.Worked for em almost 2 and a half years , saw FL once and never saw shaky. I was based out of Syracuse in NY then they closed it and was technically out of Carlisle,PA.Shop at Carlisle was real good ,managment there sucked. I was on that 7/7 for a while. It was sorta flexable,If you need to be back every week you ve got to stay on them about it or they ll keep you out 2/3 weeks. You need to insist on being back when you need to be with them, just like most any where I spose .if you ve got a good dispatcher to work with it can work. As far as going long, I tried to but it was rare they sent me farther than Chicago. If your based in the east you won t see Phoenix or Laredo much at all . I heard they had the loads going there but I guess it was who you knew as far as actually getting onto those .I did nt play the office games so I was nt with the "in crowd" good luck

It really is a coin flip. It used to be if you where a west coast driver you'd never get off the east coast once you hit it. It was a sucker's bet. You'll collect a pile of BS runs and be stuck for a month.

Aint that the freaking truth, Tho in recent months things seem to be changing I have taken a few loads out of Idaho (Where I live) and headed over to WV, PA, NJ and FL. Managed to get back quite quick to the point I was surprised. This last trip sent me from Ontario, OR. to Foglesville, PA. got a immediate return load from Port of NJ to Denver, CO. I'm back in Boise, ID. right now and looks like I'm going to Seattle, WA. then over to West Virginia. Guess we will see if this holds up.
