any thoughts on the indy term?

I am thinking about running for Knight out of the Indianapolis terminal. their 7 on/7 off sounds kinda appealing. Anyone run this and can tell me how it is?

Had a friend on mine work for knight and run the 7/7 thing. He didnt turn down any loads, ran locals as they needed him too (team player!), but didnt maintain the reqd 8500 miles/month. The only way to get that kind of miles with the short-med loads they disp you on is to avg 600 miles/day--you wont get that with knight unless dedicated..he got harassed for not getting those miles, even tho blamed disp, and then left...

Legally, I don't think with the hours available in the 7 days you could actually run 8500 miles a month only working 2 of the 4 weeks. Seems kind of crazy.
