Knight also pays 'authorized' unloaded miles, and it's often up to the individual DM to pay for the time hunting for mt's...which can take quite a bit of time in some areas.

Glad my trk is leased to hill brothers in omaha. After reading the b.s. these companies put drivers thru lots of posts on here about them. Very very few complaints from drivers do your job be honest and they'll take care of you. Will be leased here as long as I am able to drive. Treated very well (yes even company drivers)

I've been with knight about 41/2 years.... I won't leave unless they fire me. I have specific states I will not run. They never send me to those states. Most of my runs are between 5-8 hundred miles each. If I get less than 2500 miles in a week my dispatcher gets mad. I don't have to complain he does it for me. The load planners hate to see him coming. Yep I have sat for more than 5 hours at a shipper/receiver but always get 100 dollars for it. When we were on paper logs I had a different dispatcher and he was a complete a-hole. Well, upper management when thru and cleaned house. The entire company is different. They respect the drivers and do get you home for home time you asked to have. Anybody working for knight now complains then they are doing something wrong. I'll stay at knight as long as I can, cause like the old song says.......Nobody does it better.
