trucking has changed in 15 years and will be something different in another15 years. If you choose not to change with the times that your choice. Don't tell use how much better you are. Because it only you who think so. You can fight the government all you want. Let me know how that goes.. Unless Landstar changes their mind elogs are here to stay and Landstar wants you to run LEAGAL. It not just a fancy word to them.

Landstar only requires them on new leases all the guys there before can stil run paper.....I am not the only one who thinks this. And the goverment changing the rules again shows that they know the messed up but dont want to admit it. I WILL TELL EVERYONE HOW MUCH BETTER PAPER LOGS ARE OVER ELOG WHO THE HECK ARE YOU TO TELL ME NOT TO. I have that right and will use it. I fought for my rights.I have earned that respect. Now if you cant handle working and like to sit in trucks stops and think that 600 mile days are to much for one day run than fine. maybe you should look for a new carrer. Personal I love trucking. I dont like what has happend to it. And if people would stand and voice the issues we would be alot better off. but that wont happen. My logs will look legal but i WILL get the job done and done saftly. Landstart was right there are more and more wrecks recorded now that the driver was using some form of elog verus wrecks that the driver was using paper logs. those of us who know trucking know that its an unplanned life. So go back to bed bandt i am sure your elog will let you work soon and i dont want you to be tired and push your self to hard.LMAO

Again you a speculating..We will all cross that bridge when and if it comes.

It almost seems that many people whom ''comply'' like sheeple, hate us that still believe in our personal freedoms, civil liberty's and boundries. Why do sheep get so mad at us wolves.?..We are only fighting for whats best for drivers and our livlihood. We are tired of government control that is killing this business...All in the word of ''safety''.Which is total B/S.It is about ripping off the working people and feeding the Lazy government Pigs.

I don't have any trouble with the elogs. You are the one who can't seem to learn how to use them or run one... You say say how bad you think they but guys like me prove you wrong because we can run them everyday and still get load delivered. You must be be able to see the writing on the wall. Yes you can run paper log butQyou will be less and less driver like you. Landstar plan is not to run paper logs for ever.

why don't you call the log dept and tell the people you work with how to run thing because you must know more then they do. Tell them how you will make your log book look leagal.

Do you think just because you turn in a leagal log book the DOT cant figure out what you really drove. If you get accident and some is killed and you over you HOS. It's not an accident it is criminal act and you will be screwed..

you can drive to safe haven on paper as well on paper. you just flag the time and show driving to your safe haven. so on paper say 9 pm you ran out of hours but had to drive til 915 to get to a safe spot at 9pm you would draw a line straight down and put safe heaven and than at 915 you would show your city location and what not

bandt do you think that you are not screw if you kill someone on elog...FACT NUMBER i lost count....lol DOT can find you out of HOS even if you have hours to drive. Its another new law the can find you unfit to drive and put you out of service. if you wreck you can be found out of sevice status and fined and citied the same as being over hours.....As for my safety deparment. they know how i run they have even called me to give leasons to other drivers. The place i am leased to understands the fact that drivers have bad days and that the HOS rules screw the driver and no one else.....

If we kill someone we got a lot of question to answer. Accident do happen but under the law if you violate the HOS it not an accident anymore. You are committing a criminal act. It's not an accident anymore
