Ok Now I am Getting Paranoid! Which do they use MVR OR DAC???

they use both. for example, if an abandoned equipment or quit under load is on your dac. you won't find a job till you get it removed, no matter how good your mvr is. other key things that will turn a prospective employer off is if a carrier list you as not eligible for rehire.

Im not clear what Dac is

 

Think of dac as a credit report of your driving career. every large and semi large carrier uses it. they post to it when you leave a company, everytime you have an" incident" cut a tire on a curb, goes on your dac. late for deliveries? it's on your dac, got pissed off at your swift fleet manager and left their truck at the truck stop, it's on your dac. put in notice but left a loaded trailer on the company yard instead of delivering it? yep it's on your dac. fail a drug test? You can bet that's on there, etc etc etc. and every single carrier bigger than a mom and pop lemonade stand is gonna pull that record. and more and more of those small carriers are doing it.

 

My question is this.Why would you want to even be with the Mighty Landstar Anymore.?..I have over 20 years here and i am working my way to my own Auth and getting as far away from these Landstar crooks as i can...
