Does Landstar offers TRUCKS 4 SALE?

landstar used to send you to some of their dealer connections. but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. pretty much need a truck on your own. unles things have changed since i talked to them 6 months ago.

last year i looked at arrow. they had 08's for 45G with 400k miles. this year it was 09's for 65G. may be higher now thanks to carb.

they'll finance with bad credit and 20%. good credit can get 5%. and you'll need a contract of who your going to work for. the dealer i talked to was 4 miles from my house in salt lake. so it may or may not be different at other locations.

 

Talk with some Landstar drivers. They may know someone who has a small fleet of trucks leased to Landstar that might be trucking to sell off the fleet or down sizing a truck or two. I've heard from one guy I talked to personally that its not extensively somewhat common.

 

plenty of those ugly orange trucks dragging Landstar trailers around. I haven't asked the guys if they were happy.

 

Anyone driving the 2012 Freightliner Cascadia? Would like information on fuel,repairs and maintenance(DD15) Trying to compare to the 2007 Freightliner Century. This will be my first truck so trying to figure out which would be better for the long run.
