Smart to purchase my own van trailer with Landstar?

    I am strictly power only for one agent now. But before I've never had a problem getting a trailer, and never had a problem with a D&H load always had a trailer to pick up.

    You get an extra 8% by pulling your own trailer. If you figure that inot the operation, you should pull an extra $200 a week by having your own trailer here. With the cheap cost of van trailers (about $8k for a good used one) it is a no brainer to buy your own. Specilize that trailer with blankets, pads, straps, load bars, and maybe a lift-gate, and you will increase you revenue quite a bit. There is plenty of live freight for you to do here.

    buy a brand new HD wabash with skirts, tail, and super singles LOL (but buy the skirts with the black piece of rubber in the bottom so that wen yu back in a lower dock they wont bend)
