Has anyone had any problems getting empty trailers at various Home Depot Distribution Centers?? I've been to 4 with two different agents and had problems getting empties. Either I had to wait until the next day or deadhead to another location nearby to get a empty trailer. It really hurt the last time when I had to sit over 24 hours on a Saturday and had to also cancel a pre-booked load because of not having an empty trailer. Just curious to see if I'm the only one that has experienced this

This is usually a company specific question. I would try speaking with them or posting under that companys name in the http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/motor-carrier-questions-the-inside-scoop/ section. If you tell us what truck companys you may get a better response also. Just some helpful tips.

I did not have trouble getting an empty at the Redlands CA Home Depot DC but the guard said I was lucky. I got the last LS one in the lot and the guard told me that usually I would have to bobtail out and they would call me once an empty became available.

Lol, couldn't find an empty at the Houston, TX RDC. I'm not with landstar though. They were so packed the guard said park it anywhere.... I did see a few landstar empties in the empty drop lot down the street though.
