And I'm not totally sold on the situation I posted above either. That's why I'm looking for input.

    Ok, Pardon me then......

If Landstar is Coercing you to volunteer to an EOBR...That right there should be enough to put your Foot down and Tell them NO... No debating,No Arguing..Its your Business,Your truck..

These company's try and control you as if you are just a Driver...they dont care that you have a truck.....your Still part of the.............. 'Landstar operation'

Think about what Im Saying.........Your Still being used to strengthen THEIR customer base. Just the way it is.

    ok, thanks for the apologies,
i spoke with someone in 'relations' and he said the reason they are pushing them is they had to compete with carriers who are all eobr and basically show "zero" violations on CSA reports to the feds. bull crappy. ( can i say that here?)
and they cant compete with that, even though the csa report for logs was improving, it would never be zero(unless they went to eobr as well) .
so they sold our freedom for a price.

Yeah that's a crock. I've found that brokers prefer carriers that are on paper actually. At least some of them do.

If I was perfect I couldn't say it better than that. LOL what's funny even tho thread started on EOBR with or without one your being tracked by your cell. If you own a newer truck all electronic dash it also tracks you. So either way if they really dug deep they can't get info they need.

it doesnt sound that bad. if you can find drivers that are on with them and talk to them, it might be shed light.

coyote want me to download their program that tracked you on my phone. I told them I don't install such 3rd party programs and if they wanted to know my location they would have to call.
