Thank you ALL so much for all the help. I plan to do these runs into Canada until I get comfortable enough to go all the way to Alaska.
October is my 1st year anniversary with LandStar and I just can't say enough about how helpful all our BCO's are. With out all the support you guys give a lot of newbies like me would really have a hard time.

    THANK YOU!

    JayTee Thanks this.

Negative. Dale Brown is and was the only basketball coach I'm familiar with.

Alaska is EASY to get to. There's only one way in and one way out coming from the south. It's aptly named the Alaskan Highway too.

Portals a good crossing, good fuel stops in Minot.
After Portal 2 bit town called Estavan and a crappy pc of road to City of Regina big Husky T stop on East end. Saskatoon North of Regina has good Husky T stop on the North end as you leave ( ring road around Saskatoon is a little squirrelly). From Saskatoon pan cake flat pretty much until North Battleford then West to Lloydminister on the Saskatchewan/Alberta border good fuel stop and food there too and then on to Edmonton, construction is really bad right now on the East end coming into Edmonton be prepared for poor signage. There's a decent FlynJ just before Edmonton on the Southside of the highway.
i live up here and I've done a few runs between here and OH so ask and I'll give you my best advice.
Good luck and set the air ride seat for that stretch of crap between Estavan and Regina....lol

Thanks Mooose for all the input. I am looking to make a habit out of going up there so I'll try to keep in touch!

That's what I hear, I'm working my way up there. I worry about truck stop locations and road conditions, etc., so I figured I'd ease my way up there.

    been a long time.
hope to get back to canadian rockies and vancouver island again.
alot of fuel stops were cardlocks on frontage roads with 10 truck parking spots and a restaurant..
used to haul alot of paper in and paper out of canada. looked like exact same big rolls.
i went as far as 100 miles nw of edmonton on mackenzie high
    way to white court,
winter driving was worse in eastern washington in my opinion
